Performs assigned duties related to patient care & efficient operation of the unit under the guidance of licensed nursing personnel. Must be
flexible in meeting the needs of the unit (ie: changes in work schedules &/or assignment). Must follow policy & procedure & keep licensed
nursing personnel informed of any changes, situations or issues that may occur on the unit

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current license in the state of Louisiana as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Education:.C.N.A. = Completed training as a Certified Nursing Assistant; P.C.A. = completed first semester of RN clinicals.

Experience: Successful completion of orientation program. One year hospital experience preferred.

Special Qualifications: Demonstrates good communication skills, computer skills helpful, ability to work well with others as a team member to ensure quality patient care.
