Job Description

Greer Center.  This is a challenging and rewarding position which will require you to work directly with adults who have developmental disabilities, mental illness and behavioral challenges. Your coworkers will be dedicated and talented health and human service professionals who are skilled at supporting adults who have developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Ensuring clients are well cared for and safe at all times, by providing direct services and face-to-face care Continuously monitoring client activities, behaviors, health and safety Providing appropriate interventions as necessary, when clients are at risk Assisting clients with their activities of daily living – and helping them build related skills  Helping clients to build pro-social skills, which will foster their independence and good health As a Habilitation Specialist and full-time employee of Liberty Healthcare you can expect: $18.54 per hour and up (approximately $38,500 annually) An additional $1.00 per hour / shift differential for any hours worked between 6:00pm and 6:00am $1,000 sign-on bonus ($250 paid with first pay check + $250 every 3 months for the first year of your employment) 30 days of paid time off each year for holidays, vacation, sick leave, and personal days Health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, disability insurance, and life insurance Health Savings Account, 401k plan, and other perks Advancement & promotion opportunities If you possess your RBT certification and CNA certification, you qualify for an increased sign-on bonus – $2,000 sign-on bonus ($500 paid with first pay check + $500 every 3 months for the first year of your employment) Benefits plan details are available at www.libertyhealthcare.com/upload/132.pdf You can choose to work one of the following available shifts options: 6:15 am to 3:00 pm 2:15 pm to 11:00 pm 10:30 pm to 7:00 am
Skills/Requirements
Applicants will be required to submit to a comprehensive background check process & health screening (which includes a 10-panel drug test). To qualify, you should have your Registered Behavior Technician certification. You should also possess the following: Caring and compassionate attitude towards serving people who have disabilities Willingness and ability to commit to a variable work schedule – which will include weekdays as well as Saturdays or Sundays on a rotational basis Willingness to submit to a comprehensive background check process & health screening (which includes a 10-panel drug test) The “Greer Center” operates under the Oklahoma Department of Human Services and is managed by Liberty of Oklahoma Corporation.
