Job Description
Liberty of Oklahoma is looking for new high school graduates who are interested in starting a career in the health & human services industry! These entry-level "Habilitation Specialist" positions will require you to work directly with adults who have developmental disabilities, mental illness and behavioral challenges at our newly renovated facilities at the Robert M. Greer Center. This is a challenging and rewarding position that will help you build workplace experience & provide you with: Professional training to become a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) $18.54 per hour (approximately $38,500 annually) An additional $1.00 per hour / shift differential for any hours worked between 6:00 pm and 6:00 am  $1,000 sign-on bonus ($250 paid with first pay check + $750 paid after your initial 6 months of employment) 30 days of paid time off each year for holidays, vacation, sick leave, and personal days Health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, disability insurance, and life insurance Health Savings Account, 401k plan, and other perks Advancement & promotion opportunities Full details on Liberty’s benefits plan are available at www.libertyhealthcare.com/upload/132.pdf As a Habilitation Specialist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Ensuring clients are well cared for and safe at all times, by providing direct services and face-to-face care Continuously monitoring client activities, behaviors, health and safety Providing appropriate interventions as necessary, when clients are at risk Assisting clients with their activities of daily living – and helping them build related skills  Helping clients to build pro-social skills, which will foster their independence and good health You can choose to work one of the following available shifts options: 6:15 am to 3:00 pm 2:15 pm to 11:00 pm 10:30 pm to 7:00 am
