A full-time position is now available for a Psychiatrist with Liberty Healthcare at the Forensic Division of the G. Werber Bryan Psychiatric Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina. In this role you will focus on evaluating and treating adults who have criminal justice involvement and are currently experiencing mental illness. The G. Werber Bryan Psychiatric Hospital is a Joint Commission Accredited inpatient psychiatric facility which is operated by the South Carolina Department of Mental Health. The Hospital’s Forensic Division operates in a freestanding secure facility and serves adults who have been referred by jails and criminal courts from throughout South Carolina. Select physicians on staff work through a collaborative partnership with Liberty Healthcare Corporation – a physician owned organization with over three decades of experience serving people who have mental health needs. Skills/Requirements | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
You are a good fit for this position if you are licensed professionally as a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy and have successfully completed a residency in Psychiatry. Fellowship training and / or board certification in Forensic Psychiatry is a bonus, but not required.
