Maloney Properties is seeking candidates for a temporary Facilities Intern to support our Facilities Department’s initiatives over the next 2-3 months. This intern will work on-site at our Central Office in Wellesley, MA and will report to sites around Greater Boston as needed. You will facilitate the onboarding of our sites to WegoWise, a utility tracking and energy benchmarking program. You will also assist with WegoWise updates for properties that currently use the system. This process will include:

·       Accessing utility accounts/meters and understanding which accounts/meters cover which portions of the property.

·       Calculating property and area square footage using site plans. Occasional field measurement may also be needed.

·       Obtaining utility logs and information from site staff. Cooperating with and supporting staff using the WegoWise program.

·       Sending out and completing WegoWise site questionnaires.

You will work with a respected leader in the property management industry as we further our sites’ sustainability and energy savings. You will also support the Facilities Department and Maloney Properties with other administrative duties as needed. The work hours will be Monday-Friday 8:00-4:00. This is a temporary position projected to last 2-3 months.

We are looking for someone with strong computer skills and excellent communication. This is a great opportunity for someone with a knack for creative thinking and problem-solving to learn more about facilities management.

·        Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office are required.

·       This position will require some travel in the Greater Boston Area, so a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.
