The Boat Captain is a high-profile service and hospitality position. Working under the direction of the Director of Special Services, the Manager will provide services in the following areas: Boat Captain, Facilities Maintenance, Member Services and Special Projects.
JOB DUTIES:
Captain, maintain, service, and coordinate activities for the Club’s Magnificent 7 Boat.
Manage Programming for the Boat.
Assist Special Services Director in providing services for VIP clients.
Support Facilities Maintenance Teams as assigned.
Manage, Coordinate and Execute Special Projects as assigned.
Support the Efforts of the Club to provide exceptional experiences for our members and guests.
Provide financial oversight, tracking and reporting for the Boat and Special Projects assigned.
Maintain a Captain’s Log for the Boat including maintenance, vendors utilized and regular service.
Develop Standards of Operation for Boat Programming and Service.
Purchase supplies, equipment, groceries, and other necessary items.
Other duties, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:
The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, image, and presentation; be passionate about exemplary customer service and sincerely enjoy working with people.
Must have excellent communication and organization skills and an outgoing and friendly personality.
A minimum of 3 years of experience operating and driving boats.
2 years minimum experience working in an administrative or customer support role. Experience in a Hospitality and Service setting a plus.
Demonstrate problem solving skills.
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, design software, databases, and other basic computer skills.
Must have a valid driver’s license, to be covered under company vehicle policy.
Must have a current Boating Safety Certification.
Must have current CPR and First Aid Certifications.
