Job Specific Responsibilities

Shift: Business Hours

Location: Falls Church, VA

Pay: $24 - $25 per hour

Job Duties

  • Provide clerical support to Director of Brain Health & Brain Health Outreach Coordinator with regards to staff meetings, events, and outreach meetings; including answering emails and returning inquiry phone calls related to general StrongerMemory information.
  • Coordinate StrongerMemory trainings and internal brain health events, preparing pre-event materials and post-event follow-up, including action items and attendance.
  • Assist Director of Brain Health with Dementia Friendly administrative tasks, including sending meeting reminders, follow-up emails, and updating the calendar and webpage.
  • Provide support for grant projects and proposals by preparing pre-project reports and assisting to compile data and reports for ongoing grants.
  • Coordinate with communications team and Life Enrichment departments at each campus to ensure the community calendar and newsletter is updated and displays accurate times and information for brain health trainings, events, and StrongerMemory groups.

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Must be efficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 2 years of experience in office administration strongly preferred.
