About The Position 

Position is primarily responsible for the safe, courteous, and considerate transportation of residents and others via bus.

This role pays $21/hr

Job Duties

• Inspects vehicle daily for adequate fluid levels and safe operation; adds fluids and ensures preventive and / or corrective maintenance performed as needed; completes inspection report accordingly.
• Ensures vehicle remains clean, neat and attractive inside and out.
• Reports damages, traffic violations and any other problems immediately to the supervisor.
• Assists in opening doors and safely loading and unloading passengers and equipment.
• Consistently follows and adheres to traffic laws and acts as a courteous driver at all times
• Must alert to Human Resources or the Reception Desk Manager of any change in driving record, including but not limited to accidents and tickets for traffic violations.

Job Requirements 

• High school graduate or equivalent required.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Must be able to proficiently and clearly read and write English.

• Valid current Driver's license required with insurable driving record.

• Previous experience in public transportation, public relations, or related field preferred.

• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with others.

• Must complete and pass occupational health assessments on annual or biennial basis, as required by the physician.
