Part-time Job Announcement

Position: Part-time Instructional Aide

Location: All Campuses

Department: Adult Education

Reports to: Executive Director of Adult Education & Walton Campus

Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. No State of Georgia benefits.

Deadline to Apply: April 2, 2024 at 4:00 p.m.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general administrative duties including: typing, filing, and record maintenance.
  • Greet students and answer telephones.
  • Provide information regarding the Adult Education programs.
  • Assist in ordering and organizing instructional materials and supplies.
  • Maintain student attendance records; prepare and submit monthly reports of student attendance. and enrollment to the college and the state adult education office.
  • Exercise confidentiality in handling all matters.
  • Organize and oversee intake and assessment of adult education students.
  • Provide academic assistance and assist with orientations.
  • Perform other duties assigned.




Skills/Requirements

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or GED *and* One (1) year of experience as an instructional aid or paraprofessional.
