Company: Groundwater & Environmental Services Job#: 58703 Positions: 1 Job Type: Full Time Location: New Jersey - Neptune Department: Technicians Category: Field Tech I (T1) Salary: Hourly Benefits: Full Benefits Apply To This Job Email This Job Return To List Job Description Our Neptune, NJ office seeks a Sampling Coordinator to join their team (This is an entry level position that does not require previous experience) Responsibilities and Duties: Handles environmental sample collections and ensures timely pickup and delivery of samples Utilizes computer software to schedule environmental sample collections and personnel assignments Reviews the chain of custody forms for incoming samples to ensure that the appropriate tests were conducted Follows up with technicians regarding environmental sample related documentation to ensure that is submitted in a timely manner and is accurate Under the supervision of the laboratory manager, reviews and maintains field equipment calibration documentation to ensure its compliance with all applicable regulations and laboratory quality control procedures Interacts with the department manager to resolve any sampling related questions or concerns Communicates with laboratory personnel to ensure that the environmental sampling program is running smoothly May conduct environmental sampling Performs other duties as assigned Skills/Requirements A High School Diploma or equivalent 0-1+ years of related experience. Environmental sampling experience is a plus, but is not required Must be able to confidently interact with the department manager, the laboratory manager, and project personnel Familiarity with Microsoft office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and the ability to learn in-house tracking software Must be a team player with excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills A Background Check and an Alcohol/Drug Screening is required Our comprehensive benefits program includes: medical, dental, vision, prescription, 401k, FSA, LTD, STD, New Parent Leave, 529 CollegeBound Fund, Tuition Assistance, Bonus Plan, and more.
