Athens Technical College is seeking qualified candidates for a Federal Work Study position for the Office of Career Services.  The selected candidate will be responsible to the Director of Student Support Services for job duties described below.

The successful candidate will be a student who is registered at Athens Technical College at least half time (6 credit hours), is generally eligible for financial aid and has unmet need as defined by the Federal Student Aid Handbook.  The successful candidate is also responsible for meeting certain college criteria that are considered essential to the success of the college.

Job Duties:

Greet students and visitors and provide general guidance, directions, and information.
Direct traffic to the appropriate staff member.
Sort, organize, and file reports for student employment outcomes.
Copy and distribute flyers and resource guides for students and employers.
Assist staff with career services programming and special events.
Assist club advisors with tasks and activities for ATC Rotaract Club.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Availability to work evening hours.
