Maloney Properties, Inc. is seeking candidates for a full-time Maintenance Technician in Quincy, MA. Working under the maintenance superintendent, you will be responsible for the general maintenance of 112 units of elderly housing and 39 assisted living units. Duties include completing daily work orders, unit turnovers, preventative maintenance, snow removal, grounds keeping, cleaning and office tasks. The work hours this position are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm. Emergency on-call duty nights and weekends shared with three staff. Live in responder apartment may be an option.
Skills/Requirements
Basic knowledge of painting, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and HVAC is required. Must have excellent communication skills and have a strong customer service philosophy. Previous apartment maintenance experience is a plus but not required. The ability to work independently is required. A valid Driver’s License with access to a reliable vehicle is required. Must be available for snow removal. Bilingual in English/Chinese is preferred.
