Job Description

Summary:

Central Research, Inc., is actively looking for Talent Acquisition Specialist with the ability to deliver a significant volume of qualified candidates in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be the face of the Company.  This position will be primarily responsible for filling job openings at the Corporate office in Lowell, AR. recruiting, interviewing, and screening applicants to fill company openings.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will report to the Talent Acquisition Manager.     

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Build continuous applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and Internet sites; conducting job fairs, providing organizational, compensation, and benefits information
  • Attract applicants by placing job ads on various job boards, social media, OFCCP-required sites, etc.
  • Determine applicant requirements by shadowing current employees, collaborating with managers, senior leadership and HR partners, studying job description and job qualifications
  • Review and update job descriptions and specifications
  • Evaluate applicant qualifications by reviewing resumes, interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, and verifying references
  • Track and manage applicants using an applicant tracking system
  • Effectively manage talent pipelines
  • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
  • Source and attract candidates by using databases, social media, etc.
  • Consider applicants’ relevant knowledge, hard and soft skills, experience and aptitudes
  • Monitor and apply recruiting best practices
  • Provide analytical and well documented reports to management staff
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Assists with preparation of the annual affirmative action plan
  •  Additional duties as assigned




Skills/Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • 3 years proven recruiting experience, or a combination of 5 years recruiting and human resources experience
  • 1 year of strong job board sourcing experience
  •  Ability to obtain and retain a 5C suitability clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience of equal employment opportunity laws, ADA, OFCCP, and other government compliance regulations
  • Proven success in recruiting a high volume of candidates for call-center or debt collection services training programs 
  • Prior experience recruiting in a Government Contractor environment highly preferred
  • Familiarity, understanding and capability to articulate benefits of SCA and Health and Welfare 
  • Prior staffing agency experience
  • An active 5C suitability clearance

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Must have experience taking direction and following defined processes
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (sourcing, phone interview, reference check, etc.)
  • Previous experience searching for, identifying, and attracting solid candidates
  • Highly organized to meet staffing deadlines and be a self-starter
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems
  • Must demonstrate ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (sourcing, telephone interview, reference check, etc.)
  • Must be able to work in a team setting
