Screen and interview applicants for employment, ensuring that qualifications and prerequisites are met.
Works directly with hiring managers to meet staffing objectives.
Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans through the use of internal and external sourcing methods to assure a constant influx of qualified candidates.
Maintain a pipeline of candidates for recurring vacancies.
Administer all applicable candidate pre-employment skill assessments, background and reference checks and facilitate employment offers.
Ensure that all legal requirements for employment and compliance are met by keeping informed of changes and by implementing the necessary practices/programs to meet the changes.
Maintain open, positive, and timely communication with candidates and generate correspondence.
Represent TVFCU at area job fairs.
Coordinates job advertisement process.
Develops and maintains statistical information on new hires which provide data for trend analysis and problem identification.
Coordinates TVFCU's job fairs.
Generates and maintains relationships with area workforce program managers to assist in filling vacancies.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in HR or equivalent work experience.
Previous staffing/interviewing experience in a customer service environment.
Some knowledge of Federal and State laws and practices pertaining to employment/labor, standard human resource practices and procedures.
Internet proficiency.
Microsoft office knowledge.
Ability to work on a regular predictable basis with flexibility to meet interviewing schedule needs of potential applicants.
Ability to think analytically.
Ability to develop and maintain a professional relationship with the management team and employees by ensuring a sense of mutual trust, respect and teamwork.
High energy level, excellent communication skills and ability to evaluate facts and present conclusions clearly.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality with sensitive information.
Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks with frequent interruption.
Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
