The Union at 48 Boylston street, located in Boston is seeking candidates for a full-time Maintenance Technician. The work hours are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm. The successful candidate will join a team of maintenance professionals who handle work orders, unit turnovers, preventative maintenance, building system maintenance, snow removal, and on-call duties.
Skills/Requirements
Basic knowledge of painting, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and HVAC is required. Must have excellent communication skills and have a strong customer service philosophy. Previous apartment maintenance experience is required. Smart phone technology and communication is preferred. Knowledge of Yardi is a plus. A valid Driver’s License with access to a vehicle is required for on call rotation and traveling between properties. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
