The Kiawah Island Club is seeking a talented and eager individual to join the Beach Club Team as the Assistant Aquatics Manager. The Beach Club is the cornerstone and original amenity of the many spectacular facilities at The Kiawah Island Club. The perfect candidate will be responsible for the following, among other duties:

- Assume full responsibility of the Aquatics Department when the Aquatics Manager is not present

- Maintain the health, safety, and member experience of all patrons using the Club's aquatics facilities

- Protect the exclusivity of the Club ensuring that only Members and Guests gain entry

- Provide the training,  supervision, and professional development for all aquatics staff

- Help oversee pool shop boutique, managing inventory, sales, and staffing

- Ensure daily maintenance and cleanliness of all swimming pools

- Required to properly handle and store pool chemicals, equipment, and maintain daily DHEC logs

- Assist the Aquatics Manager with the hiring and training of approximately twenty staff members comprised of full time and seasonal pool attendants

Qualification Requirements

- Minimum of 6 months of management experience or relevant experience in the aquatics industry

- Ability to promote and participate in a team environment

- Ability to understand written and oral directions and to communicate professionally with others

- Candidate must be or willing to be CPO certified
