Job Description

Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union is seeking a strategic and results-oriented executive to join our team as Chief Technology Officer. The Chief Technology Officer will lead and support the credit union’s technological infrastructure and participate in strategic planning and innovative initiatives. Reporting to the President and CEO, this position will set objectives and strategies for the entire technology infrastructure including core operations, networking, disaster recovery, cyber security, data management, programming, and applications to keep TVFCU in the forefront of digital financial services.

Skills/Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

Candidates must have a diverse background in technology with an extensive knowledge of IT systems and experience in change management and strategic planning and a proven ability to drive strategic initiatives. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology required (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of ten years related experience in a financial institution. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to present a professional manner through professional appearance, behavior and performance.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to collaborate and work cooperatively with others.
  • Forward-thinking and innovative.
