Job Description

Essential Job Requirements:     

  • Support our Help Desk as the main or backup representative answering the Help Desk calls and providing assistance, or assigning the call to the appropriate resource.
  • Assist with network, email, and phone system maintenance, including: new user setup, password protection, security, trustee assignments, system broadcast, ect.
  • Assist with software and hardware maintenance, upgrades, repairs, and replacements to PCs and peripherals.
  • Trouble-shoot and correct problems arising from malfunction of PCs, printers and other devises.
  • Assist with the maintenance of filtering applications to ensure the security of Credit Union and member information. Assist in maintaining appropriate network-wide anti-virus programs and protection systems from servers and PCs, to e-mail and attachments etc.
  • Assist with LAN/WAN maintenance, upgrades, and implementations.
  • Assist trainer and/or other resource personnel with software applications currently in use by the Credit Union.
  • Help assure all software licensing is properly maintained.
  • Look for opportunities to improve services to the Credit Union and/or its members through use of new products and technologies.
  • Identify training opportunities to improve job efficiency and maintain knowledge of job responsibilities
  • Other related job duties may be assigned as needed
Skills/Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school preferred, or three to five years of related experience.
  • Proficient with MS Office and related products.
  • Ability to discuss technical issues effectively with IT professionals as well as non-technical users.
  • Ability to resolve inquiries and issues in a timely friendly and accurate manner.
  • Proven record of ability to provide accurate, courteous, friendly, timely and professional service to members, potential members and co-workers.
  • Ability to work and travel independently.
  • Ability to make training presentations
  • Ability to maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness.
  • Ability to multi-task and proven attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to work outside the hours of 8:00am – 4:45pm, and some weekends.
