Athens Technical College in Athens, Georgia is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to the Dean of General Education and Online Learning (GEOL). The Administrative Assistant is responsible for performing day-to-day administrative support duties related to the GEOL Division. Responsibilities include Blackboard administration (ATC’s learning management system) including technical support for faculty, staff, and students and provide support for the Center for Teaching & Learning. Skills/Requirements | ||||||||||||||||||||
Minimum Qualifications Associate’s degree in a computer/IT, business administrative technology, or closely related field, and three (3) years of related work experience Note: Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis. Preferred Qualifications Three (3) years of work experience within the last five (5) years and an Associate's Degree OR one (1) year work experience within the last two (2) years and a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in a computer related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Word and Excel; learning management system experience (i.e. Blackboard, D2L, Moodle) and technical support experience, and strong customer service skills preferred.
