St. John's Episcopal Hospital is recruiting for the following vacancy:

Position: LMSW/LCSW

Department: Pediatrics Clinic  - 495 Beach 20th Street

Status: Part- Time  Temporary Assignment ( 37.5 hours biweekly) -Days

Local 1199 status

Description:

The LMSW / LCSW provides individual, group and family therapy to a caseload of children. Perform psycho-social assessments, phone screenings and walk-in evaluations. Provide outreach to the hospital and community.

• Masters Degree in Social Work is required

• Valid N.Y.S LMSW  or LCSW is required

• 2-3 years previous experience in Pediatrics - Community Outreach

• Must be able to problem solve and think critically

• Must be computer literate

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

• Must be highly organized and detail oriented

• Has the ability to work well with the interdisciplinary team
