Athens Technical College in Athens, Georgia seeks an evening Adjunct Clinical Instructor for the Practical Nursing Program at our Elbert County Campus in Elberton, Georgia. The successful applicant will provide competent and comprehensive instruction in the Medical/Surgical nursing clinic course. Responsibilities will include clinical education as assigned by the program chair.

The successful applicant will be expected to implement course materials that support stated initiatives and use appropriate techniques to provide students with the knowledge needed to achieve the learning outcomes for this clinical course.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate Degree in Nursing; proficiency in teaching methodology, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and guidance.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing; one (1) year prior teaching experience at the post-secondary level; three (3) years’ experience on Medical Surgical Unit; the ability to make presentations using advanced media technology, such as distance learning and online learning applications.
