Job Title:                                Receptionist

 

Reports To:                           Chief Financial Officer

 

Location:                               Burlington, MA

 

Shift:                                       Monday-Friday   (20-25 hours per week)

   Work hours are as follows:

  Monday – 8:30am-1:30pm

Tuesday – 8:30am-12:30pm

Wednesday – 1:00pm -5:00pm

Thursday – 8:30am – 12:30pm

Friday - 1:00pm-5:00pm

Job Summary:

In this part-time role, you will be half of a two-person reception team, as well as providing some office support, in a busy work environment.  A friendly, welcoming personality and professional appearance is important, as you will often be the first face and/or voice of the Company that our customers, vendors, brokers and visitors will see and hear. 

 

Key Responsibilities:          

  • Answer and transfer calls to the appropriate departments and employees using ShoreTel and Five9 phone systems
  • Greet visitors and make them feel welcome
  • Greet candidates arriving for interviews and collect the necessary paperwork
  • Assist Accounts Receivable by opening payments and looking up account numbers
  • Process FedEx shipping labels
  • Order office supplies and stock the supply closet
  • Order kitchen supplies and ensure the kitchens are adequately stocked
  • Prepare conference rooms as needed with coffee supplies and cold drinks

     

    Required Experience, Education, Skills and Competencies:

  • A high school degree
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in and office support role
  • Familiar with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

    Additional Requirements:

  • Must be extremely reliable and on time
  • Must be able to lift light boxes of office and kitchen supplies
  • Must be friendly, welcoming, professional, efficient and organized
  • Must be able to be flexible with working hours during coverage for vacation schedules
