St. John's Episcopal Hospital is recruiting for a Manager of IT Applications and Informatics. This position is responsible to Oversee application management as well as interfaces within all designated core applications. Performs complex clinical and operational analysis in an evolving data environment while collecting and studying data to reveal ways to enhance operational efficiencies, reimbursement, and clinical quality outcomes. May act as Project Manager or Team Leader in managing tasks and plans of all phases of projects of considerable complexity, size, or scope.  Develops systems testing plans and conversion strategies and participates in evaluation of results. May provide indirect supervision to staff members assigned to project team or within department. Serves as a point of contact and a Subject Matter Expert for all meaningful use activities for acute care and liaises for ambulatory. Analyzes Meaningful Use message submissions and ensure data quality and accuracy.

• Minimum 3 years clinical experience required. 

• Experience supporting MEDITECH clinical systems preferred.  PC-based computer skills, spreadsheet, word processing, flowcharting and project management proficiency required.  Prior experience managing healthcare software implementations and upgrades preferred.  
• BSN/BS Required, Masters Preferred
