Athens Technical College in Athens, Georgia, seeks an adjunct instructor to teach  courses in History at the Broad River Career Academy in Danielsville, GA. The successful applicant will be expected to implement course materials that support stated initiatives and use appropriate teaching techniques to provide students with the knowledge needed to achieve the learning outcomes for each course offered.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 18 semester hours in History; graduate hours in teaching or education are not sufficient.
• Strong communication skills and work ethic.
• Willingness to teach at Broad River Career Academy in Danielsville, Georgia.
• Willingness to teach using all college approved methods (Ex. face to face, online, audio / video, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
• Experience with online teaching platforms; Blackboard preferred.
