Job Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for handling accounts receivable, “soft” collection, and account inquiry calls from our customers in the Water segment of our business.  You will resolve problems in a timely manner by listening and verifying the customer's issue; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to resolve the problem, setting up payments, completing account maintenance, and following up with the customer.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts receivable and soft collection calls.
  • Research and resolve customer/vendor inquiries regarding their lease agreements in a timely manner.
  • Communicate via phone, email, fax, or regular mail with customers and vendors.
  • Work with other departments as necessary to resolve customer disputes/inquires.
  • Contribute to team effort by answering customer/vendor phone calls in a timely manner and by completing all duties as assigned.
  • Process and respond to correspondence sent by customers/vendors, and performing other administrative duties as directed.

 

Required Experience, Skills and Competencies:

 

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an accounts receivable environment.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced high volume call center.
  • Professional telephone manner.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to ensure that all are completed timely.
  • Data Entry, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet.

     

    Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED

     

    Additional Requirements:

  • Available schedules are: 8:00am to 4:30pm / 8:00am – 5:00pm / 8:30am – 5:00pm / 8:30am – 5:30 pm / 11:00am-8:00pm / or 11:30 am – 8:00pm
