St. Johns Episcopal Hospital is recruiting for an Administrative Supervisor of Nursing. This is a full time, non union position. It offers comprehensive benefits, 4 weeks vacation, Tuition Reimbursement and eligibility in the 403 B after 1 year of employment. Summary: It is the responsibility of the Administrative Supervisor to ensure and maintain adequate and competent levels of patient care in all areas of operation. The Administrative Supervisor collaborates with the Asst. VP of Nursing/Patient Care Services and the VP of Nursing/Patient Care Services in facilitating nursing care. This individual assumes responsibility for all administrative activities in the absence of the administrator on premise. The Administrative Supervisor is guided by a broad knowledge of current nursing theory and practice and of principles of management and supervision. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
