To provide inside sales support, account and order management for the USP Customer Service Department and our customers for the purpose of meeting the objectives of the department.
Coordinates all assigned orders to include all tasks required to process and expedite the order accurately and timely and to insure customer satisfaction. This includes providing quotations, checking pricing, coordinating with other departments, notifying customers of shipping information, and assisting other Inside Sales Representatives.
Provides sales department and/or customers with pricing on bills of material. Also provides all information necessary to meet customer inquires, and works with customers to offer alternatives to help resolve problems.
Maintains and files all proper records related to customer inquires, orders, etc.
Monitors, evaluates, and presents solutions to potential problem areas affecting customer service.
Prepares customer complaints, records information, resolves customer conflicts, and emergencies. Prepares and forwards preliminary paperwork for return of material.
Asssures compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
Mails catalogs and other literature required by customers.
Skills/Requirements
Minimum High School graduate or equivalent. Previous industrial or manufacturing experience preferred. Good computer skills and experience.Requires deligent presence in work area to be responsive to customer calls and e-mails. Knowledge and experience with telephone contact preferred. Good communication, interpersonal and persuasive skills. Good patience and ability to deal with people. Must be self-motivated and self starter.
