Job Description

The Email Marketing Specialist (Analyst, Marketing Operations) will be responsible for end-to-end execution of outbound ad-hoc and automated email campaigns, managing production workflow in collaboration with cross-functional teams and identifying opportunities to maximize efficiencies. The role will require a detail-oriented and organized individual, capable of handling multiple projects at once, able to take direction, capable of dealing with ambiguity, and comfortable working with cross-functional teams and management, including but not limited to global Account Management, Marketing and Product Operations leadership.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Construct, preview, test and publish outbound email campaigns via Aptean’s marketing automation system
2. Work with Marketing Programs team to translate customer business rules into filter segments to ensure optimal list segmentation
3. Assist in providing campaign response metrics and other post-performance insights to Account Management, Channel Partner, Product Operations and Marketing partners
4. Serve as the subject matter expert for Marketing Automation tools, lead training, identify and understand user issues, escalate system issues and request enhancements
5. Partner with Marketing Programs team members to optimize targeting and execution approach for campaigns

Education

Bachelor's Degree required

Work Experience

Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 1 year and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience. Typical range is 2-5 years.

Knowledge

• Experience with CRM and marketing automation solutions (Eloqua or Marketo preferred)

Skills and Abilities

• Self-starter with strong communication, organization and prioritization skills
• Ability to manage shifting operational and project deadlines in a cross-functional, collaborative environment
• Heavy focus on quality control and attention to detail
