With eleven locations, U.S. Pipe Fabrication is the largest independent ductile iron pipe fabricator in the United States. U.S. Pipe Fabrication has revolutionized the ductile iron pipe fabrication business

US Pipe Fabrication is seeking an enthusiastic , experienced sales manager for the Mid-West.  This territory includes: North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, and Chicago.  Candidates from these states are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include:

-          Determine customer needs and propose appropriate service

-          Schedule appointments and meet with customers and decision makers

-          Develop, maintain and share a thorough knowledge of USPF’s products, services and pricing structure

-          Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business

-          Meet or exceed annual sales goals

-          Prepare and deliver sales proposals/presentations and follow up with key decision makers

-          Complete reports and other paperwork, meeting scheduled deadline

-          Develop and maintain an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends and respond  accordingly

-          Regularly meet (via phone most of the time) with sales supervisor to review weekly sales activities

-          Other duties, as assigned



-          Present and communicate with skilled professionalism

-          Organized with excellent time management skills desired

-          Self-motivated, able to work independently to meet or exceed goals

            Experience with WTP & WWTP Operation and bidding / plans

-          Waterworks Industry experience is desired

-          Excellent verbal and written communication skills

-          Computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft applications is desired

-          Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies

-          Minimum of 3 year experience in sales (inside or outside)

-          High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field preferred

-          Must be able to travel overnight
