Job Description

The beautiful and exclusive Kiawah Island Club seeks a polished and professional Member Services Representative to join our busy team! Areas of responsibility include taking reservations, concierge requests, issuing membership ID cards, new Member orientations, event coordination, a Club cottage concierge, and more. Candidates must be computer literate and have excellent telephone etiquette. This position also helps facilitate the execution of events (e.g. seating charts) and taking reservations for other various Club activities—dining, kids programming, boat cruises and fishing, Club cottages, Sporting Club sessions, and arranging transportation. A large chunk of this position’s responsibilities is front-desk and administrative in nature, however, as part of the Club’s prestigious concierge service team, expect to wear many hats!

This hourly, entry level position could be an ideal fit for a recent college graduate with an interest in Hospitality, Golf, Marketing, Customer Service, or all of the above!


Qualified candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills. A four-year college degree in Communications, Hospitality, or a related field is ideal. Because of the amount of interaction with Members and their guests, applicants must genuinely enjoy working with people. Ideal candidates will have a flexible “can-do” attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team. Candidates must have reliable transportation. Previous hospitality, food & beverage, or private club experience is strongly preferred.
