Job Description

Responsible for accurate and timely booking of all new loans both consumer and commercial to include disbursement of funds while following regulatory procedures as well as bank policies and procedures.  Responsible for all Loan Servicing activities as they relate to both commercial and consumer loans while having interaction with both internal and external customers.
 





Skills/Requirements
  • Books and funds new loans, renewals and modifications, including in house documented and attorney prepared
  • Completes daily processing and balancing of participations
  • Processes nonaccrual and charged off loans, including reporting
  • Responsible for accurate and timely processing of loan related post-closing items
  • Completes routine and miscellaneous maintenance transactions as appropriate
  • Manages all loan transactions including payments, advances and payoffs
  • Processes mortgage warehouse lines to include advances and payoffs
  • Monitors and processes construction draws, advances and payments
  • Works directly with escrow accounts to handle all transactional items such as payments and annual escrow analysis
  • Processes and reconciles department general ledger accounts
  • Completes credit verifications and responds to credit disputes
  • Completes daily “check back” and administers the necessary corrects to resolve exceptions
  • Communicates directly with both internal and external customers, also works routinely with senior lenders and upper management
  • Provides back-up to other department functions as needed
  • Provides top quality service to both internal and external customers meeting service level agreements
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Strong independent thinking, analytical and problem solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent follow through and follow up skills as well as the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to prioritize workflow and handle shifting priorities/diverse responsibilities while meeting multiple deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Detail oriented and well organized
  • Motivated and open to change
  • Ability to clearly communicate with customers both internal and external. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Collaborative team player with strong customer service and communications skills

  • None

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 5 years direct Loan Servicing experience, including extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to all loan types

Computer and Software Skills:

  • Proficient using Microsoft excel, Word, Google Docs and Google Mail

  • None

Additional Information:

  • Able to work a flexible work schedule including overtime
