Job Summary

The Recruiting Manager will develop, implement and drive recruiting solutions for the organization. This role will have accountability for overseeing the recruiting strategy and managing the processes, procedures, programs and activities that comprise the recruiting function.  This role will also oversee the data integrity/maintenance in the applicant tracking system, as well as spearhead all recruiting related projects.  The right candidate is highly motivated, tenacious and organized, with strong analytical and strategic skills, and with strength in driving towards attaining expected recruiting metrics in order to deliver value to our organization.

 

This role will be responsible for strategic/process management of a team and will need to forge strategic partnerships with Business Leaders to ensure recruiting drives business results. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Provide day-to-day process management, ongoing education, support and coaching of recruiters to ensure effective, consistent recruiting processes are in place while streamlining recruiting tasks and ensuring consistent recruiting focus.

  2. Monitor and track metrics to identify trending; redirect team as appropriate to ensure workload is managed to produce established goals; directs and monitors requisition process; evaluate recruitment costs and develop metrics for measuring value (open position, turnover costs, etc.).

  3. Work with functional leadership to develop and implement recruitment and sourcing strategies and new programs as needed.

  4. Design and effectively manage pilot recruitment programs, leading to successful rollout of programs designed to offer high-impact, simplified recruiting methods.

  5. Propose and implement ongoing improvements to Aptean’s recruitment efforts by applying a wide range of experience on current external recruiting policies, practices and trends.

  6. Centralize communications; streamline reporting processes to VP of Global HR and identify contributors and inhibitors to recruitment strategies in geographic markets.

  7. Provide weekly status updates to VP of Global HR and maintain biweekly recruiting strategy/progress meetings with business leaders regionally and functionally.

  8. Responsible for conducting targeted searches for critical roles and contacting passive job seekers.

  9. Ensure hiring manager and team preparedness during the interview process

  10. Assist in negotiating offers by partnering with regional human resources teams and business leaders, as necessary.

  11. Manage internal and external recruiting activities including a preferred vendor list and contract recruiters; Identify cost effective sourcing alternatives and research/identify cost savings efforts.

  12. Work with Regional HR teams to identify challenges within the region via exit interviews and other sources of data.

  13. Ensure compliance with company EEO, affirmative action plans and federal and state regulations.





Skills/Requirements

Job Requirements

Minimum Education: B.E/B.Tech/MS/MBA from an accredited university or college

Minimum Experience and Skills:

  •  12 years of experience in the recruitment function
  • Experience in leading recruitment team.
  • Must have demonstrated ability in hiring across all levels in an IT organization/equivalent
  • Must have sound knowledge and understanding of HR concepts and HR best practices
  • Able to cultivate interpersonal/Customer/Partner relationships
  • Demonstrate a high level of ethics and integrity
  • Meticulous, detail oriented, well-organized and able to work independently to meet datelines
  • Excellent communication skills
