The Kiawah Island Club seeks athletic, enthusiastic, experienced, and responsible individuals to work in the private Country Club Summer Youth Recreation Program from June 11th- August 10th.

Youth Program Counselors: (Must be able to work June 11th- August 10th to be considered for the position) Assist with the organizing, execution, and hands-on participation in sports activities, beach activities, aquatics programs, crafts, talent shows, Club Events, July 4th Events, and outdoor field activities for our youth, teens and family membership.

All positions are seasonal and entail working long hours outside, overseeing events at The Club’s varying properties, and leading recreation programs on the beach, in the pool, and field play for all ages including teens and adults. 

Qualified applicants will be comfortable working and playing outside in the sun and able to physically engage in activities! Scheduled work shifts vary so applicants must be flexible and willing to work varying hours Monday - Saturday *position entails minimal shifts on weekends. Ability to work the July 4th weekend is required.

Experience in Recreation Sports, Camps, Child Development or Hospitality is preferred. Some previous experience participating in team sports at the high school or college level is strongly preferred. A valid drivers license, and reliable transportation is required. Only applicants available to work the entire length of the Program (June 11th- August 10th will be considered.
