The exclusive Kiawah Island Club has an immediate need for a talented and experienced full time Pastry Cook at Voysey’s at Cassique. The Voysey’s restaurant features fine dining menus designed exclusively by Consulting Chef Tom Colicchio of Manhattan's famous Gramercy Tavern and Craft eateries. This is a great opportunity for passionate and creative Pastry Cook to work with the highest quality ingredients, in an upscale, private club setting. As the newest member of our baking and pastry team, you'll work closely with our talented Pastry Chef on scratch production of plated dessert components, cookies, cakes, breakfast pastries, ice creams, sorbets, breads, and other menu items using local, seasonal ingredients. You'll also help run the pastry line during lunch and dinner service, and assist in the development of new desserts and dessert menus.

Pastry Cooks will prepare menu items according to recipe specifications and the Pastry Chef's guidelines in a timely and efficient manner. Previous experience in a high-volume scratch kitchen is essential. Knowledge of, and adherence to sanitation rules is required. Having a valid driver's license and your own, reliable transportation is required. You must have previous pastry experience. Previous fine-dining experience is preferred, but not required.
