Job Description

The summer internship program will provide students with an opportunity to take on real-life assignments that will provide practical experiences within the banking industry.  Each student will be placed in a department for the duration of the 12 week program.  Some departments include: Credit, Internal Audit, Business Banking, Information Technology, Operations, Commercial Banking, Retail Banking, and Human Resources.  Students will be encouraged to ask questions and stretch themselves to gain the training and development to take their career to the next level.





Skills/Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • On-the-job-experience:  Work with a high performing team to gain in-depth real life experience.  This includes projects, participating in meetings, one-on-one training from team members, and assigned tasks.

  • Professional Growth: Each participant will be matched with a mentor that will be available to answer questions, help through challenging situations, and give feedback throughout the course of the program.

  • Business Development: Network with senior leaders, Enterprise associates, and other program interns.  Additional activities will be available for program participants to further their banking knowledge and experience for the real world.

 

Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability

  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills

  • Experience working in a team environment

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Education and/or Experience:

  • Current student enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program (tentative graduation date 2018-2019) Degree emphasis in finance, accounting, marketing, human resources, business, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA

 

Computer and Software Skills:

  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen/Resident or have permanent/indefinite work authorization.
