Job Summary:

The purpose of this position is to handle collection calls from our leasing customers.  You will be collecting on any past due balances;  resolving problems in a timely manner by listening and verifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, using strong skip tracing skills and following up with the customer.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting on customer’s past due balances
  • Researching and resolving customer disputes and inquiries regarding their lease agreements in a timely manner
  • Communicating via phone, email, fax, or regular mail with customers and vendors.
  • Working with other departments as necessary to resolve customer disputes/inquires.
  • Contributing to team effort by answering customer phone calls in a timely manner and by completing all duties as assigned.
  • Processing and responding to mail sent by customers, and performing other administrative duties as directed.

 

Required Experience, Skills and Competencies:

  • Minimum of  3 years of collections experience in a collections center environment required.
  • Experience working in a fast paced high volume collections center.
  • Strong skip tracing skills.
  • Professional telephone manner.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks to ensure that all are completed timely.
  • Data Entry, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet.

 

Education Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Working hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm  OR  11:00 am – 8:00 pm
