Responsible for obtaining and reviewing pre-closing documentation for new loans, renewals and modifications. Enters pertinent loan application details in a bank defined system as well as maintaining the integrity of the data input, including revisions to initial submission if necessary. Establish and maintain strong working relationships with third party vendors, Relationship Managers, and Central Support, including Loan Administration Deposit Ops, Credit Administration and Compliance. Typically handles renewals and the less complex deals within the unit.
Skills/Requirements
Obtain all pre-closing documentation requirements, such as flood letters, title work, appraisals, entity documents, corporate searches, credit bureau reports.
Assemble and coordinate required financial information from Client to Credit Department for analysis.
Enter and maintain required loan application details in bank defined application submission system, including pre-analysis, pre and post approval and pre-booking details.
Liaison between Relationship Manager, Credit Department, and Loan Administration.
Interaction, both verbal and written with clients per Relationship Manager’s direction collecting data, documents and various general customer service requests.
Conduct closings upon request and process funding instructions per deal.
Recordation and collateral perfection if applicable.
Monitor and assist in clearing documentation exception items.
Process and respond to daily overdrafts per RM instructions and bank policies.
Effective interaction with all areas of Support Center to ensure regulatory issues are met as well as client satisfaction is given and received.
Responsible for data integrity of loan application system input
Review of closed loan package to ensure no changes to loan documents were made at closing without approval per loan policy.

COMPETENCIES
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong knowledge of commercial and real estate documentation requirements with ability to assemble pre-closing documentation packages.
Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with high degree of accuracy
Team oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others
Strong Computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products, and other proprietary bank systems.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Minimum of 3 years Commercial Loan Coordinator experience is preferred.
