Athens Technical College in Athens, Georgia, seeks a peer tutor for English and social science courses. The peer tutor may work up to 12.0 hours per week

Minimum Qualifications

• Applicant must be an Athens Technical College student during Fall Semester 2017.
• The successful candidate will have a minimum 3.0 overall college GPA and an A in the subject(s) to be tutored.
• The candidate must have excellent communication skills.
• Applicants must provide a recommendation from his or her English or social science instructor.
• The applicant will be committed to work the times scheduled.
• Preference will be given to students who have expertise in a variety of disciplines including English, psychology, sociology, history and economics.
