Under the direction of the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor: The employee will manage all retail receiving for Snowbird, its retail outlets and the Food / Beverage Department.

Position Functions / Areas of Responsibility
1.    Receive all incoming retail orders by ticketing and preparing them to be delivered to the stores. Organize all purchase orders by date and origin with appropriate vendor contacts.
2.    Enter all orders in our “WinRetail” system and take care of any issues before they are received. Report any discrepancies with orders to both the store managers and the accounts receivable department of the vendors. When necessary, re-entering UPC’s incorrectly entered, retagging product with incorrect pricing, adding or deleting items either over or under shipped, obtaining missing PO numbers. Follow up with managers on problems so they can be handled in a timely manner.
3.    Keep a paper trail of any interaction with managers and supervisors as a backup and any problem areas that are repetitive. (Continually having to remind them or fix!)
4.    Operate pallet jack when necessary to move product.
5.    When requested, receive and deliver food and beverage orders, deliver products by driving company vehicles to any and all hotels at Snowbird, place food orders for restaurant staff and place online orders for any department at Snowbird in need of a purchase order.
6.    Follow all safety procedures and practices in order to maintain a safe working environment for everyone. Perform light cleaning.
7.    Will act as back for retail purchasing agent and possibly food and beverage agent when needed and on special occasion.
8.    Travel: Occasional travel to/from resort.

1.    Occasional contact with guests.
2.    Direct and continuous contact with co-workers, management, and other departments.
3.    Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird.

Education & Experience Requirements
-  High School Diploma or equivalent required.
-  1-2 years of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence.

Specific Requirements:
-  Must be at least 21 years of age.
-  Valid Driver License w/ clean MVR (driving record)

Skills & Knowledge
Technical:    
High level competency with two different accounting and purchasing systems: WinRetail and Stratton Warren. Build, maintain and track all expense and purchase orders through Microsoft Excel and routinely report or research any accounts receivable information desired. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Computer literate, and able to type 40 wpm minimum with some 10 key.  

Administrative:    
Strong communication skills required to effectively communicate important information between the receiving and accounting departments at Snowbird. Able to follow instructions and complete task unsupervised.  The agent will be self-motivated, while maintaining a safe and clean environment.  Ability to stay on top of all orders, requests and communications.  

Working Conditions
Work Schedule:
-  Shifts vary, may be early morning or late evening, weekends, holidays, depending on business levels.
-  Monday – Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm, with some nights and weekends as required by workload and special events.  
-  Specific Shift: Generally Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00pm.
Mental:
-  Must be prepared to stay overnight if necessary on occasional times of road closures.
-  May experience unusual stress from high business volumes, deadlines, continual work with public, winter conditions, snow night requirements and commuting to/from Snowbird.
Physical:
-  Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
-  Must demonstrate ability to bend, kneel, handle, reach, grasp and perform repetitive motions.
-  Work is subject to frequent interruptions making continuity and accuracy difficult, frequent exposure to noise.
