St. John's Episcopal Hospital is recruiting for a Sr. Financial Analyst for our  Bethpage office. This position is responsible for providing financial analytical support for budget and hospital initiatives. The role includes monitoring and reporting on budget variances, as well as providing data support necessary for monitoring the performance of ongoing initiatives. The Analyst works closely with the Director of Budgets and Financial Planning to provide accurate and timely information to hospital administration. In addition, will work with Reimbursement and Finance Staff to assist with various responsibilities within those department.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Perform bi-weekly analysis of FTE's using payroll reports
• Management of Cost Accounting Software
• Perform in depth analysis of  temporary help expenses, including FTE and cost by department
• Support Managed Care contract negotiations by providing various analytical reports
• Create and Analyze Operational and Financial Dashboards

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other related degree

5+ years of financial reporting, analytics or similar experience in a healthcare setting required

Must possess strong Microsoft office experience

Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at various stages of development
