St. John's Episcopal Hospital is recruiting for a Report Writer who can use writing tools such as Microsoft Access, SQL, and Meditech to support report writing for the organization. Experience with converting existing NPR reports, by mapping to DR table and ability to create reports. Experience with Meditech RD and NPR report writer including line attribute and creating MACROS
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Validate Model System reports and identify advanced reporting needs with reporting consumers
Meet with application analysts and report consumers to understand reporting needs
Create design specifications for new reports
Identify and validate appropriate technology solution for various reporting needs
Create new reports, using third-party reporting tools
Modify existing reports, as necessary
Review upgrade documentation and determine how to implement the changes
Skills/Requirements
A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent experience is required
Three Years of Experience in a hospital setting preferred

Meditech NPR, RD and DR
Crystal Reporting, Tableau
Project Management and presentation software
Working knowledge in the characteristics of Information technology, computers, peripheral devices, communications systems and hardware capabilities, programming languages.
Proficiency with SQL and relational database concepts, including primary and foreign keys, joins, etc.
