Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Define organization project governance standards and project management frameworks.

- Own practices for portfolio management


- Work with various product teams to provide project/program status and project performance metrics.

- Identify project and business risks and escalate them to senior management; Track resolution and implementation of the resolution.

- Participate product and project definition stages with focus on identifying critical dependencies


- Design project metrics that can be tracked, prepare communication plans for project status updates and chair periodic reviews.

- Track resource utilization against (e.g., financial, time, staff, and skills), business goals and initiatives.


- Ownership, continuous improvement of and providing guidance, training and mentoring to Project Managers on different project management methodologies, system development lifecycle (SDLC) with focus on Agile.


- Monitor and challenge Project Managers, Managers and Directors to continually improve the accuracy of their program/project milestones/schedules and resource planning based on master program/project schedule.


- Provide senior managers advice on strategic and tactical project planning; Help with tracking execution and to identify and mitigate potential scheduling conflicts and risks to the production environment.

- Providing weekly updates on program portfolio to executive team.


- Chair post mortem discussions on project/programs.

Skills and Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience delivering in software development organization.
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or other related field is preferred.
- Ongoing education in project management required and industry certifications preferred (PMP, PMI, CSM, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Strong ability to collaborate with leadership teams
- Excellent communication skill with ability to clearly articulate to executive teams

Knowledge of several tools that are key to PMO
