Job Responsibilities:

Support the development of new products by fabricating prototype components. 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Fabricate metal and plastic components utilizing common machine shop equipment.
• Execute work orders in a timely manner.
• Review incoming work orders for scheduling and completeness.
• Procure necessary raw materials.
• Maintain files in an organized fashion.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and shop is kept in a clean, organized and safe state.
• Assist others with machine shop services as required.
• Provide design consulting to engineering.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.

Job Qualifications:

• High School diploma required. AS in a technical field preferred.
• 4-8 years of machining experience using milling machine, lathe, saws, sanders, and grinders.  Medical device experience preferred.
• All around (class C/B) machining knowledge. Familiar with manual and CNC lathes & mills.
• Capable of fabricating basic sheet metal components.
• Able to read blueprints per ANSI/ISO standards including geometric tolerancing.
• Ability to execute tasks in a timely manner under minimal supervision.
• Able to prioritize tasks.
• Computer literacy required, Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and SAP desired.
