Create concepts and write compelling copy for advertising, marketing and promotional material such as: media advertising (newspaper, magazine, television, radio, outdoor and Internet, etc.); collateral (brochures, posters, flyers, onsite signage, etc.) and programs (employee referral, incentive, motivation and retention).

Work with the creative team and account service, responsible for developing innovative on- and off-line creative concepts and marketing solutions that are on strategy, on budget, to specification and that differentiate clients from their competitors

Write solid, polished, compelling copy for all media (print, broadcast, web)
Comprehensive understanding of the client’s brand standards and ability to consistently apply those standards to new and change requests
Manage time effectively to ensure profitability of project and deadlines are met
Participate in team meetings to identify opportunities and solutions to meet client objectives

Work with the Interaction Designer to help develop navigational structure and labeling conventions
Meet development work standards by following production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards
Enter timesheets daily and accurately

Conduct research when necessary (primary research, focus groups, surveys, etc.)
·
Collaborate with other members of the creative staff to improve the product – this includes copy and design.
·
Work as an integral part of the overall advertising team (become a true partner with clients, account services and creative)
SECONDARY
FUNCTIONS:
·
Continually push the creative product by seeking external education, reading and researching new trends
·
Begin participating in client presentations (both up-front fact finding meetings, as well as the presentation of finished creative strategies and executions)

Skills/Requirements
·
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
·
Demonstrated “real-world” professional experience that either directly relates to required job duties (usually through 2 to 4 years’ professional advertising), or experience that is indirectly related but candidate shows ability and potential to successfully fulfill required duties
·
Previous experience writing copy for the web (samples requested – URLs)
·
Previous interactive creative agency and/or technology experience is helpful, but strong writing skills will overcome a lack of specific experience.
·
Possess a comfort level with technology (Mac/PC and the web)
·
Working proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
·Ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time
