Job Description

Aptean is seeking a Chief Human Resource Officer to be located in Alpharetta, GA.  Aptean provides industry-specific software applications that enhance processes across the enterprise, helping businesses manage their resources, supply chain, employees, and customer relationships.  This is a full-time position with worldwide responsibility.

The CHRO will lead the HR organization as a member of the executive team and report directly to the CEO.  Seeking a strategic CHRO to work alongside the CEO to set a vision and standards for high performance and create a strong internal culture. S/he will also lead implementation and delivery of Human Resources strategies, policies, and services that create, support and sustain a high performance, innovative and entrepreneurial culture.  This position must be based at headquarters in Alpharetta, GA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Lead the Human Resources function including employee relations, performance management, career development, compensation, benefits, HRIS, recruiting, training and employee communications
  • Lead employee integration of mergers and acquisitions including compliance, org transitions, benefits, and related due diligence
  • Serve as an HR Strategic Business Partner to management and staff on employee relations issues, interpretation of company policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Provide guidance to managers on discipline issues, terminations, performance evaluations, and performance improvement plans
  • Recommend, develop and implement programs to sustain positive employee morale and increase employee retention
  • Develop the Human Resources strategy to support the overall business plan




Skills/Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 10+ years' prior experience in Human Resources
  • 10+ years' prior management experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines (employee relations, performance, recruitment, compensation, training, benefits, etc.)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to Human Resources and general business practices
  • Previous experience leading through acquisitions, integrations and/or divestitures
  • Previous experience in managing global HR teams and employees

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred
  • Technology and software experience preferred but not required
