The Lead Recruiter plays an important role and is responsible for the full life cycle recruiting efforts. The individual in the role will partner with the Leadership team to support strategic and operational hiring efforts, and provide detailed analysis and insight into recruiting performance. The role requires a high degree of self-motivation, integrity, tenacity, and an ability and desire to be a proud ambassador of Aptean.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with leadership, Human Resources, and hiring managers to facilitate a strategic, effective and efficient recruiting process.
  2. Leverage a variety of sources including referrals, ATS, job boards, social media and like to attract qualified candidates.
  3. Recruit effectively to continually improve on KPIs/metrics & industry benchmarks.
  4. Function as in-house consultant and the subject matter expert in recruitment & staffing.
  5. Effectively support multiple hiring needs & manage against tight hiring deadlines for business critical roles.
  6. Conduct various types of analytics to support the business operations, develop creative insights that accelerate business performance and set systems in place to track performance.
  7. Provide leadership and guidance to recruitment team.
  8. Conceptualize and implement recruitment strategies/ plans with team to achieve recruitment targets and enhance service delivery.




Skills/Requirements

Education: 

Bachelor's Degree Required, Master's Degree Preferred.

Work Experience  

Typically requires a minimum of 6 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 5 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 4 years’ experience; or equivalent experience. Typical range of experience is 6-9 years.

 

Knowledge

  • Past experience with full lifecycle recruiting in a high volume Technology environment
  • Well versed in using at least one Applicant Tracking System

 

Skills and Abilities

  • Have exceptional communication skills and a very strong ability to manage a variety of leaders
  • Demonstrate a high level of discretion, tact, judgment, and poise and must have a solid aptitude for maintaining highly confidential information
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual problem solving skills with the ability to see patterns; bring a structured and logical approach to decision making and manage execution
  • Strong willed, decisive, a fast learner and able to effect changes fast
  •  Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to influence different styles
