The Field Marketing Specialist is responsible for ongoing development and execution of field marketing, major campaigns and product launches for Aptean’s  Solutions. This position will work closely with our product team to understand the solution and will design and execute sales enablement tools and field marketing to meet our product goals while also increasing customer experience and retention. Candidates will have a successful track record of developing and executing goal-based, integrated marketing programs inclusive of the entire marketing mix, as well as a deep understanding of the synergetic relationship between Marketing, Sales, and Product Management. 





Skills/Requirements

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop overall marketing and branding strategies, customer field marketing, and related activities to ensure that new and existing products meet organizational goals and expectations.
  • Develop and coordinate new idea reviews and recommendations, concept and design development, project management, and market introduction.
  • Assist with presentations, demos, white papers, and product updates for organizational marketing materials.
  • Stay well-informed on marketing trends and emerging technologies, especially Internet marketing and lead generation, to incorporate into the strategy for optimizing the company’s marketing investment.
  • Direct internal and external marketing resources by managing projects with third party vendors and internal marketing specialists.
  • Interface with sales, operations, product management, support, services, and solutions consulting to roll out and launch lead generation field marketing for follow-up and reporting.
  • Execute campaigns in line with budget and demonstrate positive ROI in line with agreed targets.

Education

Bachelor's degree or demonstratable directly related successful experience.

Work Experience

Typically requires a minimum of 2-5 years of related experience marketing B2B enterprise software solutions (ERP/CRM/SCM marketing experience strongly preferred) with a Bachelor’s degree.

Skills and Abilities

  • Creative thinker and understanding of positioning the right message to the right audience.
  • Strong understanding of marketing operations, automation and measuring ROI.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior management and peers across multiple organizations, geographic regions and/or cultures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to marketers and other stakeholders.
  • Keen understanding of marketing objectives and strategies within a B2B environment.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products (proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud an advantage).
  • Strong analytical problem solving and decision making skills.
  • Strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Strong desire to undertake ongoing professional study and training.
