Perform tests, calibrations, and alignment checks per detailed procedures, makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as required and reports data in a prescribed format.
Confers with engineering personnel to resolve fabrication problems relating to specifications and review test plans.
Prepares specifications for fabrication, assembly and installation of apparatus and control instruments used to test experimental or prototype products.
Assist engineers in developing production process.
Perform in-process and final inspections.
Read/interpret test procedures, detailed schematics, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, bills of material and engineering change notices.
Packaging of completed product.
Revise or clarify production procedures as problems are identified.
Adhere to general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies and procedures, QSR, GMP and FDA regulations.
Skills/Requirements
High School graduate or equivalent required. AS in a technical field preferred
4 years of related work experience desired. Medical device experience preferred.
Understanding of electronic theory required
Ability to troubleshoot to the component level and follow complex instructions
Must possess the ability to perform electrical testing, utilize maintenance practices and procedures, and equipment operation
Ability to apply principles of electronics theory, instructs others in problem resolution, and generates process instructions
Knowledge of lean, six sigma, kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives a plus.
Ability to execute tasks in a timely manner under general supervision.
