Job Description: The Customer Solutions Manager will be responsible for all aspects of delivery of Customer facing Support & Services to global Customers from the Bangalore COE for a product or group of products. The person will be directly reporting to the Sr. Manager/ Director Customer Solution in Bangalore, but will need to work closely with the Global CS Managers and Directors to deliver Services and support to global standards. The CS Manager will be responsible for managing and mentoring the assigned team and keeping it motivated to achieve high levels of Productivity and Quality. Mandate/Role: 1.Provides overall direction for complex activities - providing guidance and inputs for a medium-sized project or multiple small-sized projects. Resolution of problems require analysis of facts and general principles. 2.Creates motivational and positive culture in the reporting team and allied teams. 3.Applies knowledge to practical issues often relating to more than one functional area. 4.Has a significant impact on a small department/function. The role manages work activities of team through lower level supervisors/ individual contributors. 5.Responsible for conducting appraisals, regular feedback to employees and handling team work allocations 6.Ability to adapt to various communication styles and interpret non-routine and conflicting information. 7.Knowledge of relevant policies and procedures, determines a course of action based on these guidelines. 8.Interacts with internal and/or external clients and customers to negotiate and interpret information on projects and unit operations. May consult with senior management. 9.Ability to do Project Management, Resource Management, Customer Management, Estimation, Release Planning for multiple products. 10.Responsible for providing operational and other MIS reports to Management pertaining to the team(s) managed. Primary Skills (Mandatory) Requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience; Typical range of experience is 12-15 years with a minimum 5 years working in Software services projects. 2-3 years of Project Management experience in managing large projects is desirable. •Team management skills, Team motivation and role model for junior members of team •Collaborative Leadership Skills, change management skills •Critical thinking and analytical ability. •Accountability, decision making and initiative •Excellent written and spoken Communication skills, active listening, Mentoring and Coaching, giving and receiving feedback, Negotiation skills, Stakeholder communication, ability to represent the team in other forums •Good conflict management skills, relationship building skills.
