Our Events and Administrative Coordinator is the will serve as the welcome resource and Abiomed representative for our visitors. This is an ideal position for those seeking to begin or enhance their career at a dynamic company that offers remarkable growth opportunities.  This individual is responsible for providing exemplary customer service by welcoming and accompanying clients, medical professionals, executive guests and internal management to and throughout our newly designed global headquarters and educational institute in Danvers, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide superior hospitality to all visitors
  • Liaise with clients, medical professionals, executive guests and multiple levels of internal staff and management
  • Manage and ensure that the reception area operates in an efficient and professional manner
  • Create the process flow for operating the educational institute,  including reservation process, training room, meeting and function planning engagements
  • Provide report on the daily activities in the facility
  • Screen and direct incoming phone calls and correspondence
  • Assists with some Human Resources, building management/facilities, and Professional Education tasks

 





Skills/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to relate effectively with guests and colleagues
  • Positive, personable and engaging personality
  • 1 year of administrative experience or internship experience desired
  • Excellent organizational, process and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
